Currently living as an ex-pat in the UK there are certain truly American traditions I do miss out on. Memorial Day weekend this year the weather was hot and sunny and I convinced my British boyfriend to buy a grill and cook outside. It was a tiny charcoal thing and we knew nothing about getting it started
but it actually turned out to be a decent meal.
Highlight at the end was roasting marshmallows!
